1.6 A pick will be deemed active if the player selected enters the field/court/rink during play. For example, if an NFL player is active but does not play at any point in time, the selection will be deemed void. If an NFL player does enter the field of play, but does not record a statistic, the pick will stand.

1.7 A Lineup will only be accepted up to the official starting time of an event. A Lineup accepted in error after the official starting time of the event or specific market within the event will be deemed void and stakes will be refunded.

1.8 Unless otherwise stated, Lineups are resulted as per the results and statistics published by the official governing body for the event. Should there be substantial evidence that a result or statistic has been published incorrectly, the market will be resulted after consultation with the governing body.

1.9 Unless otherwise stated, the official result announced at the completion of an event will be the sole result considered for the settlement of picks. Disqualifications or penalties occurred after official results are announced, positive drug testing results, rule breaches will not count towards settlement of that pick.

1.10 Unless otherwise stated, a Lineup will be considered ended once the outcome of the Stat has been unequivocally determined. Should an event be abandoned after the result of the individual pick has been determined, the result of such picks will stand for settlement purposes.

1.11 Dabble will endeavor to result and settle Lineups as soon as the event is completed, or the result of an individual Lineup has been determined. Please note however, our resulting sources must be able to confirm an official result before markets are settled to ensure resulting and settlement accuracy. Unfortunately, delays may occur on occasions where there is a delay in the announcement/ publication of an official result.

1.12 Dabble reserves the right to DNP (Did Not Play)/ Void any pick as a result of an obvious error in the Projection for the player. Player Projections that include clear errors will result in a DNP/Void. For example, if an NFL Quarterback has a TD Projection set to 20.5 TDs - more/less for a single game, selections of more, or less on that player will be graded as a Did Not Play/Void.

1.15 Picks that are demonstrably highly correlated are not allowed to be combined in a single Lineup (for example, 'runs' and 'earned runs' from players on opposing teams in a baseball fixture). In the event that demonstrably highly correlated Picks are combined in a single Lineup, that Lineup will be cancelled and the stake will be returned. Violation of this rule may result in certain combinations being automatically restricted on your account.

1.16 Any stake placed on Lineups where different outcomes are chosen for the same player projection will not count towards play through requirements (for example, if LeBron to score more than 11.5 points is chosen in one Lineup, and LeBron to score less than 11.5 in another Lineup, the stake on both Lineups will not count towards play through requirements).

1.17 The maximum payout for a single Lineup, or multiple Lineups with the exact same selections is $50,000.

2. Football Game Rules (NFL and NCAA)

2.1 If a match is postponed, but rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time and at the original venue, then all Lineups will stand. 2.5 Season Long Entries

2.5.1 All season-long Lineups are for the regular season only, playoffs are excluded.

2.5.2 If a player does not accumulate 8 games played, the player will be scored as a DNP. A player is required to play a minimum of 1 offensive snap (for offensive players) or 1 defensive snap (for defensive players) to be considered to have played in a game. NOTE: The 8 game minimum remains in place, irrespective of whether the season is shortened for any reason.

3. Basketball Game Rules (NBA, WNBA and NCAA)

3.1 In the event a match is postponed, all Picks will stand if the match is rescheduled within 48 hours of the original advertised starting time. If the match is postponed for longer than 48 hours all two-Pick Lineups will be voided and an Lineup involving the voided match will be re-calculated based upon the General Rules above, excluding the voided Pick.

All Picks placed on games played outside 48 hours of the scheduled game start time will be void. Once the 48 hours have expired, all two-Pick Lineups will be voided and an Lineup involving the voided match will be re-calculated based upon the General Rules above, excluding the voided Picks.

6.2 If a game is abandoned after at least 80 minutes have been played in the match, all Picks will stand. If a game is abandoned prior to 80 minutes being played, all two selection Lineups will be voided and a Lineup involving the voided match will be re-calculated based upon the General Rules above, excluding the voided Picks.

6.3 All Picks will be settled based off official results provided by Statsperform (Opta). Any discrepancies in results provided from other sources will be ignored for settlement purposes

6.4 Lineups will be settled based on Regulation time Only (90 Minutes Plus Injury Time). Should Extra-Time be required, the statistics involved in Extra-Time will be ignored for settlement purposes, unless otherwise stated.

6.5 Should a Penalty Shootout be required, the statistics involved in the shootout will be ignored for settlement purposes.

6.6 If a Player does not take the field at any stage during the match, then all Lineups involving this player will be void.

6.7 If a Player starts a match as the Substitute or does not start the match on field, then all Lineups involving this player will be void.

6.8 If a Player starts the match on field and is substituted off the field before the completion of the match, all Lineups involving this player will stand

7. Cricket

7.1 If a match does not commence within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, all Lineups will be void.

7.2 If there is any reduction of overs in the match, due to external factors (for example, rain, bad light, unacceptable ground or pitch conditions) then all Lineups will be void, unless settlement had already been determined prior to the reduction of overs.

7.3 If a Player is not named in the Starting XI then all Lineups involving that player for that match will be void.

7.4 Player Runs / Boundaries - If a player does not face any balls during the match, then all Lineups involving that players runs or boundaries will be void.

The scoring system applies to all forms of cricket and is calculated as follows:
1 point per run scored
10 points per catch taken
20 points per wicket taken
25 points per stumping

7.6.2 All Lineups on Player Performance will stand regardless of if the player does not face any balls with the bat or if the player does not bowl any overs. Unless that player’s Lineups are void because of rules 7.2 or 7.3.

7.7 Tournaments

7.7.1 Lineups on a series will stand so long as the Player has played in at least one match.

8. Tennis

8.1 Match Termination

A match will be considered as “terminated” where the official governing body of the tournament declares a match (or relevant tournament) to be abandoned, cancelled or otherwise discontinued prior to the natural conclusion of the match. This may be for any reason, including but not limited to: player injury, retirement or disqualification.

If the match is terminated, all Lineups will be void, except for those Picks where the result has already been unconditionally determined (see Outcomes at 8.4 for details).

8.2 Postponement

If a match is postponed at any time before its completion (including prior to commencement), all Picks will stand until the match is played, completed or terminated.

8.3 Retirement

8.3.1 Early Retirement

If a player retires prior to the first serve in the match, this will be considered a walkover. All Lineups involving players in that match will be void.

8.3.2 Ordinary Retirement

If a player retires prior to the completion of the match being played, Picks will be resulted in accordance with Outcomes at 8.4 below.

8.4 Outcomes

If the match is terminated, all Lineups will be void, except for those Picks where the result has already been unconditionally determined. See examples below for specific outcome scenarios.

8.4.1 Match Total Games/Set 1 Total Games

Example: Match Total Games is projected at 22.5 games and Player A goes on to retire from the match with the scores at:

Player A: 6 4 3 (13)
Player B: 4 6 1 (11)

Total = 24

In this scenario, over will be graded as a win and under will be graded as a loss; the 24 games played exceeds the Match Total Games projection (22.5) and the result is therefore considered to be unconditionally determined.

In circumstances where the Match Total Games result does not reach the quoted Projection, Picks for that Stat will be void and treated as DNP.

NOTE: All ‘total games’ Projections refer to the combined total games played in the match or set, not the total games played by an individual player.

8.4.2 Aces/Double FaultsExample: Total Aces is projected at 9.5 aces for Player A, and 8.5 aces for Player B.
Player A goes on to retire when the Total Aces statistics are:

Player A: 10 aces

Player B: 8 aces

For Player A - over will be graded as a win and under will be graded as a loss; as player A has already achieved 10 aces (which is more than the quoted Projection).

For Player B – the Pick is void, as the outcome has not been unconditionally determined (Player B only achieved 8 aces and the match will not be continued).

8.4.3 Break Points Won

**Break Points Won is defined as break points converted while returning serve**

Example: Break Points Won is projected at 2.5 break points for Player A, and 3.5 break points for Player B. Player A goes on to retire when the Break Points Won statistics are:

Player A: 3 total break points won

Player B: 2 total break points won

For Player A - over will be graded as a win and under will be graded as a loss; as player A has already won 3 break points (which is more than the quoted Projection).

For Player B – the Projection is void, as the outcome has not been unconditionally determined (Player B has only won 2 break points and the match will not be continued).

8.5 Match Total Games/Set 1 Total Games

All Match Total Games Projections quoted refer to the combined total games played in the nominated match or set (Player A total games played + Player B total games played) regardless of which player is listed.

8.6 Tiebreaks, Match Tiebreaks & Champion Tiebreaks

8.6.1 Total Games Projections

Any tiebreaks, match tiebreaks and Champions Tiebreaks won during the match, each contribute 1 game towards the Total Games count.

8.6.2 Break Points Won Projections:

Any tiebreaks, match tiebreaks and Champions Tiebreaks won during the match, are excluded from the Break Points Won count.

8.7 Grading

ATP Tournaments: https://www.atptour.com/

All Grand Slams will be graded as per the statistics published on the official tournament governing bodies websites.

All other matches and tournaments will be graded as per results and statistics published by the official governing body of the tournament or exhibition event.

9. Hot Dog Eating

9.1 Hot Dogs Eaten
Scores are settled based on the official scoring as published by majorleagueeating.com

9.2 Players must start and participate in Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, otherwise they will be graded as a ‘’Did Not Play’’ and that selection will be removed from your Lineup.

9.3 If the contest is cancelled or postponed for more than 24 hours after the listed start time any pick made in this contest will be treated as a ‘’Did Not Play’’ and the selection removed from your Lineup.

9.4 Disqualifications
Any participant disqualified by the contest officials will be graded as a "Disqualification" and the selection will be removed from your Lineup.

9.5 Incomplete Contests
If the contest is started but not completed, any selections will be treated as "Did Not Play" unless an official result is declared by Major League Eating.

9.6 Protests and Appeals
Results will be considered final based on the official scoring. Any changes due to protests or appeals after the official scoring is published will not be reflected in the grading.

9.7 Rule Changes
Any changes to the rules of the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest made by Major League Eating after Lineups are submitted will not affect the grading of those Lineups.

10. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) / UFC

10.1. Delays

If a confirmed/scheduled fight does not take place within 48 hours of the given date and time it was officially scheduled for, all Picks will be deemed void.

10.2. Future Fights

Where Dabble offers Projections in advance of a fight being confirmed, all Lineups will stand until:

  • the fight is officially scheduled (at which point, fight outcomes will be governed by the rules described above in section 10.1); or

  • either fighter is officially assigned to fight an alternate opponent (at which point all Picks will be deemed void).

10.3. Outcomes

10.3.1 Unconditionally Determined Outcomes

If a fight is terminated, all Lineups will be void, except for those Picks where the outcome has already been unconditionally determined.

Example: Takedowns are projected at 1.5 for Fighter A - who goes on to record 2 takedowns, but the fight is subsequently ruled ‘No Contest’.

In this scenario, Picks for over will be graded as a win and Picks for under will be graded as a loss. This is because the 2 takedowns achieved by Fighter A exceeds the projection (1.5) and the outcome is therefore considered to be unconditionally determined.

10.3.2 No Contest

If the fight is declared a 'No Contest', then all Lineups will be void, except those Picks which have been unconditionally determined (see 10.3.1).

Note: 'No Contests' awarded after the official announcement of the result immediately after the completion of the fight will be ignored for settlement purposes.

11.3 If a match is relocated from the original venue all Lineups placed prior to the announcement of the venue change will be void.

13.1 Postponements & Abandonments

13.1.1 If a match is postponed and does not commence within 24 hours of the original scheduled start time, all Lineups will be void.

13.1.2 If a match is abandoned after the commencement of the match, then all Lineups will be void, except for those Picks where the result has already been unconditionally determined. For example, if Map 1 has been completed before the match has been abandoned, then all entries pertaining to Map 1 will be resulted as normal.

13.1.3 If a match is played before the scheduled start time, then all Lineups placed after the actual start time will be void. All Lineups placed before the actual start time will stand.

13.4 Connection issues

13.4.1 If a team is made to forfeit a match due to connection issues, all Lineups will be void, except for those Picks where the result has already been unconditionally determined.
